Dr. Daniel M. Fistere, Jr. joins Fairfax Radiology in July, specializing in Neuroimaging. Dr. Fistere graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine, did his residency training at Emory University School of Medicine, and was a Fellow at Weill Cornell Medical College at New York-Presbyterian Hospital.
“I am very excited to now be a part of FRC. After spending time with the group during medical school rotations at Inova Fairfax Hospital, I knew this was the type of practice I would want to be associated with in the future. I am looking forward to the opportunity to read a wide variety of cases across our multiple sites, as well as to work with some great people.
I have spent the last year as an attending neuroradiologist at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. I hope to bring some of the things I've learned working at a dedicated cancer center to my new position.
I grew up in the DC area, on a small farm in Poolesville, MD. I am glad to be back close in proximity to my family.
I enjoy traveling, fitness, and taking my dog hiking and to the park.”
