Fairfax, VA – July 15, 2024 – Fairfax Radiology is excited to announce the addition of Dr. Thomas Bomberger to our team of medical professionals. Dr. Bomberger brings an extensive background in neuroradiology, marked by his exceptional educational journey and significant research contributions.
Dr. Bomberger earned his Doctor of Medicine from Case Western University School of Medicine in 2018, where he excelled academically and passed all USMLE Step exams. He continued on at CWRU/University Hospitals for his Internship and residency training in Diagnostic Radiology, completed in June 2023. His dedication to the field of Neuroradiology led him to pursue a fellowship at John Hopkins University Hospital, where he completed his training in June 2024.
Throughout his medical training, Dr. Bomberger has demonstrated a passion for leadership and a commitment to excellence. As a Radiology Resident at University Hospitals, he served as Chief Resident from 2022-2023, where he led a number of academic programming and quality improvement initiatives. At a national level, he also completed the AUR leadership development program and served on the RSNA Resident and Fellows Committee, where he helped develop career development and wellness programs for radiology residents at the national conference.
Dr. Bomberger’s research endeavors are equally impressive with six peer-reviewed publications and numerous presentations at prestigious conferences. Dr. Bomberger’s comprehensive training and hands-on experience make him a valuable professional to the FRC team.
